In the past two weeks, I have been sharing the same Skype tip a couple of time. I thought it might be interesting to have it in written somewhere so that maybe additional people get to learn it.
One of the great thing that Skype chat allows is editing messages that you have written. It is quite convenient when one makes an error while typing and wants to correct it. It can also be used to completely delete the message (if you wrote to the wrong person for instance).
To edit previous Skype messages, simply right click on the message that you want to edit in the chat window and select Edit Message. If you want to edit the latest message that you have written, you can also simply press the up arrow (↑).
The message can then be modified and resubmitted as any normal messages.
And finally appears as modified in the conversation history.
For the time being, comments are managed by Disqus, a third-party library. I will eventually replace it with another solution, but the timeline is unclear. Considering the amount of data being loaded, if you would like to view comments or post a comment, click on the button below.
